Other fun turkey facts…

  • This is our twelfth season raising Turkeys!

  • This year we are raising 550 Broad Breasted Black breed turkeys.

  • After 4 weeks in the brooder, our turkeys are pasture-raised and are moved every other day to new pasture.

  • Our turkeys are fed an organic, non-gmo feed and get about 25% of their diet from the pasture (grass, bugs, seeds, etc.)

  • They spend their days roaming the pastures, foraging for goodies, roosting in their turkey church, and gobbling in unison - all while being protected by our super duper supreme turkey guard dog, Bunny, and guard dog in training, 5 month old Rufus.
